Have you ever come across some great video and/or audio clips on the internet? Tried to download it onto your PC but you could not? You are not alone! Streaming video and/or audio (real time transfer between the supplier and recipient) can only be captured by loading a software program which allows you to do that.

Some months ago, in my attempt to capture some live streaming video from the internet (conferences and church services), I came across a software called WM recorder which allowed me to do just that with great ease and speed!

Initially, I was worried that the software may be hard to configure and operate but my worries were unfound. After the initial one-time configuration, you just have to open the WM recorder installed on your PC; play your video and/or audio from the source (e.g. using windows media player) and the recorder will start its recording at great quality!

Another great feature which I love about WM recorder is that it allows you to record multiple streams of video and/or audio at the same time! With this feature, you do not have to waste time waiting for a video recording to complete before recording for another one.

WM recorder supports all popular streaming formats:

  • Windows Media
  • Real Video and Audio
  • Flash Video (FLV)
  • MPEG
  • QuickTime
  • Streaming MP3 (Shoutcast)

WM recorder converts downloaded video/audio into these file types:

  • WMA
  • WMV
  • ASF
  • ASX
  • MPEG
  • AVI
  • WAV
  • RM
  • RA
  • FLV
  • MP3
  • MOV

In conclusion, with WM recorder, you can now easily download your favourite streaming video and/or audio from the internet and save it in your PC! You can have the video and/or audio for your own keeping without having to worry that the originators may one day remove them from the internet :-)
